What this quote means is that you have to able to do the right thing in life. You have to be always choosing the right. When you see people doing bad things you have to step up and do the right thing. If all your friends are smoking you have to be the one to say no i will not smoke. You have to stand out in order to make your point never be afraid always say what's on your mind.  You always have to stand up to the people that are choosing the wrong. you yourself have to be always choosing the right. this lead you to a get life. never choose the wrong because this means you will no be free and you will have bad character.
