What i believe that this quote means is the if you do good you are choosing the right. also you live a happier life. for example if you choose to drink that's bad and make you live a lot less. and by choosing the right and not drinking you live a lot longer. this depends on your actions in life and what you do. those who choose the right are always in head of life and never seem to have a hard time. and those who do choose the wrong have a bad time. and never have fun and are not live long because of there choices. people who live a bad life live short and not so good lives.  you should always be choosing the right to live a healthy life the last forever. and for does that don't you have to change you'r ways.
