assistant dentist in some states their allowed to work there even without a degree
but while in other states they must be licensed or registered. What there
mostly do is help get the patient ready to be treated. They sterilize dental
instruments. Prepare the work area to be used. Help the dentist with handling
tools during procedures. Keep patient mouth dry with tubes. They also process x
rays and complete lab tasks. Also work with billing and checks. The yearly annual
salary is 35,640 dollars. They schooling is very short depending they can get their
education through academic or dental school programs, go to a universities. This
usually takes nine to eleven months to finish.
